Real Madrid Will Go After Thiago Motta If Deals For Gerrard And De Rossi Fail

Tiago MottaIt appears that Thiago Motta’s name has been jotted down the Real Madrid transfer list in case the hierarchy fail to land either Gerrard or De Rossi this summer.

AS report that after talks between Mourinho and Real Madrid officials, it has been agreed upon that Real Madrid should seek to sign the Brazilian midfielder if approaches for the Italian and English midfielders come to a dead end.

The Spanish newspaper claims that it’s becoming increasingly hard to sign De Rossi after Roma aren’t showing any signs of willingness to sell him.

On the other hand, as far as Gerrard is concerned, the 30 million euro price tag slapped on him is too much for his age, which has recently reached the 30 year mark.

Mourinho Gives The Green Light For Real Madrid To Sign David Silva

David SilvaAccording to Spanish news agency EFE, Mourinho has given Real Madrid the green light to sign Spanish midfielder David Silva from Valencia.

EFE claims that negotiations for David Silva have stalled recently, due to waiting for Mourinho to be officially appointed as coach. As that seems very imminent, EFE reports that Real Madrid have started negotiations with Valencia again, and if all goes well, Silva will be presented before the Spanish national football team travels to South Africa to take part in the upcoming World Cup.
